Katie is our practice nurse/manager who partners with Dr Bade and Stan (the orthopaedic technician) to offer a multidisciplinary service to our patients. Katie manages the clinic, looks after any wound dressings that require care, answers any questions and also follows up on the post operative patients. Katie believes our service is very unique to the Brisbane area offering a caring multidisciplinary approach.

After working within the orthopaedic field for nearly two decades, Katie has a passion for helping people and enjoys getting to know the families we treat.

The experience she has gained comes from working as a Clinical Nurse in a busy ward setting, an Educator within the adult Orthopaedic setting, and as a Clinical Nurse Manager from a surgical ward.

Katie has a Certificate in Orthopaedics obtained through The Australian Catholic University. She is also a member of the Queensland Orthopaedic Nurses Special Interest Group (QONSIG).

Katie has a Certificate 1V in Frontline Management. Katie holds a degree in Nursing from the The Australian Catholic University.
